We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team and help drive the commercial growth of our SaaS platform.

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new sales opportunities for EduTeam. You’ll work closely with the leadership and product teams to shape our go-to-market approach, build relationships with prospective customers, and turn interest into long-term partnerships.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys opening doors, building trust, and owning the sales process end to end.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and prospecting new sales opportunities within the education and recruitment sectors
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  • Engaging with potential customers through calls, meetings, demos, and events
  • Understanding customer needs and positioning EduTeam as the right solution
  • Managing the sales process from initial contact through to contract close
  • Working with the product team to feedback market insights and customer requirements
  • Developing partnerships and referral opportunities where appropriate
  • Representing EduTeam professionally in external conversations and events

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Strong ability to identify and qualify new sales opportunities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Confidence presenting products and solutions to prospective customers
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet agreed targets
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling SaaS products
  • Familiarity with the education or recruitment sectors
  • Experience selling to UK-based organisations
  • Understanding of CRM tools and sales reporting
  • Experience contributing to go-to-market or pricing strategies
